No one is the same, and no one is perfect— and your photos shouldn’t be either. I thrive off of documenting in-between moments, the photos that make you feel what it was like to be there— NOT the perfectly posed kinda stuff!
You deserve more than just pretty photos— but instead, photos that put you in your feels. You also deserve a full experience— to be supported from start to finish; an adventure with curated moments over pre-planned poses; a gallery of memories.
01. WHAT TO EXPECT?
I love basing the shoot around an activity, which gives you something to do and makes you feel less awkward. I’ll coach you on some things that photograph well and suggestions for movement. However, I try to direct you as little as possible. Don’t let this freak you out— I want your photos to reflect you guys. The more I tweak your every move, the more ME I insert into every photo.
I will 100% talk you up and give you suggestions, but I will not treat you like a puppet with stiff and awkward poses. If you feel relaxed, excited, and super in love while taking the photos, you’ll likely remember those emotions when you’re looking back on your photos in many years.
02. MY APPROACH
Before we speak, I ask you to fill out the contact form. It helps me better understand what you want to get from your elopement. Knowing precisely what you want, I can offer you the best locations, activities, and vendors. Don’t worry if you don’t have a concept for your event. Together we’ll find the best solution. What I really won’t do is force you to accept something that I suggested. This is your day, and I just help you to turn your thoughts, ideas, and dreams into reality.When we discuss all the details, and you choose everything from location and date to clothes and champagne. All I’ll ever need of you is to be who you’re. Staged photos are boring and don't help you cherish the moments. So let's make your elopement photoshoot candid.
03. LET'S MAKE THE BEST DAY
I'm here to support you— however y'all choose to spend your love day. Promise me you'll make this day about you, not about anyone's expectations. You can say your vows in your backyard, on a hot air balloon in Turkey, overlooking a glacier in Iceland, or under stars in the field where you got engaged— doesn't matter, as long as it represents you and your family.
I’ll get my camera. At that moment, my purpose will be to capture your real feelings and emotions. I’m not going to tell you what to do and how to pose. Our common goal is to save these brilliant moments of your love story, not to do posed photography.
